The Will of God

I always recall that wonderful phrase of St. Paul, "This is the will of God, your sanctification."...It does not only mean that it is God's Will we should be holy, but that our holiness will be the doing of His Will. God's Will is shown to us in many ways. We are born into this world, and the Will of God is around us - even before our birth. We are born surrounded by the Will of God and that Will now is going to be our sanctification. God's Will is manifested to us even by what we are ourselves. We are not angels. Had we been angels, our eternity would have been settled by one act. We are human beings with that strange wedlock between body and soul. That is the Will of God. Our very body is the Will of God, and our sanctification depends on our accepting the Will of God with regard to our body and our soul. Do not think, dear children in Jesus Christ, do not think that it is always easy to do the Will of God.

Faith

Faith is a man's response to God, who reveals Himself and gives Himself to man, at the same time He brings man a superabundant light as he searches for the ultimate meaning of his life.This implicates the search of man for the meaning of his life, the revelation of God to man and finally the response of man to God which I will explain further.

The desire for God is written in the human heart, because man is created by God and for God, and God never ceases to draw man to himself. Throughout history, men have given expression to their quest for God in their religious beliefs and behavior such as prayer, meditations, rituals, sacrifices, etc. But this intimate and vital bond of man to God can be forgotten, overlooked or even rejected by man for different causes. Although man can forget God or reject Him, He never ceases to call every man to seek Him, so he can find life and happiness in Him.
Created in God's image and called to know and love Him, the person who seeks God discovers certain ways of coming to know Him. These ways of getting to know God can be by looking at His creation or His works

But there is another order of knowledge. God has revealed himself and given himself through a free decision. He reveals the mystery, his plans by sending his beloved Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. God has been revealing himself to man throughout history. He manifested Himself to our first parents, spoke to them and after the first fall, He promised them salvation (Gen 3:15) and offered them his covenant. God made an everlasting covenant with Noah and with all his living beings( Gen 9:9-16) God chose Abaraham and made a covenant with him and his descendants. By the covenant God formed his people, Isreal, and revealed his law through Moses. Through the prophets, he prepared them to accept the salvation destined for everyone. Finally, God fully revealed Himself by sending his own Son, Jesus Christ, in whom he established his covenant for ever. The Son is the Father's definitive Word, there are no further Revelation after him.

God desires "all men to be saved, and to come to the knowledge of the truth" (1 Tim 2:4) : that is of Jesus Christ( Jn 14:6). In keeping with the Lord's command, the Gospel has been handed on in two ways:orally and writing. Thus, the apostles handed on what Christ entrusted to them by their preaching and writing, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, to all generations, until Christ returns in Glory.

Thus, man responds to God because of God's revelation and by faith. The latter is when man completely submits his intellect and his will to God. The man gives his acceptance to God, the revealer. The Bible call this human response to God, "the obedience of faith" ( Rom 1:5, Rom 16:26)

"Ask the master of the harvest to send out laborers" (Matthew 9:38)

One day I was pondering over what I could do to save souls; a phrase from the Gospel showed me a clear light: Jesus said to his disciples, pointing to the fields of ripe corn, «Look up and see the fields ripe for harvest» (Jn 4,35) and a little later, "The harvest is abundant, but the laborers are few; so ask the master of the harvest to send out laborers".(Mtw 9:37-38) How mysterious it is! Is not Jesus all-powerful? Do not creatures belong to Him who made them? Why then does Jesus say: "Pray the master of the harvest to send out laborers ... "? Why? ...
Ah! Jesus has so incomprehensible a love for us, that He wants us to have a share with Him in the salvation of souls. He wants to do nothing without us. The creator of the universe waits for the prayer of a poor little soul to save other souls redeemed like itself at the price of all His blood.
Our vocation, yours and mine, is not to go harvesting in the fields of ripe corn; Jesus does not say to us; "Lower your eyes, look at the fields, and go and reap them"; our mission is still loftier. Here are Jesus' words: "Lift up your eyes and see .... " See how in my Heaven there are places empty; it is for you to fill them ... each one of you is my Moses praying on the mountain (Ex 17,8f.); ask Me for laborers and I shall send them, I await only a prayer, a sigh from your heart!

E Pastor Amabel

Si e pastor ta lesa hopi, e no tin tempu pa hende.

Si e pastor no ta lesa, e no ta altanto.

Awor si e pastor no tei mas, kiko abo ta hasi?

Amor, Amor i mas amor.

Esaki ta pasó Dios ta stima nos anto e ke pa nos bai serka DjE pa nos propio boluntat.

Esaki ta laga mi korda riba e siguiente historia;

Un wòlf ta representa angustia, envidia, dolo, tristesa, arogansia i mentiranan.
E otro wòlf ta respresenta alegria, pas, amistad, fe, bèrdat i humildad.
E mesun pelea ki ta tuma luga den di bo tambe. E ta tuma luga den kada hende su kurason."
E yu a keda pensa un ratu. Despues ela puntra e tata: "Kua wòlf ta gana?"
E tata ta responde bisando: " Eusn ku abo duna di kome"

Beibel ta bisa ku Dios ta amor (1 Huan 4:8).

Tur e mucha muhénan mas riku i nechi lo ta presente. Saka e idea ei for di bo kabes!

I e yu muhé a responde bisando “Nó. Mi no ta sufriendo i tampoko mi no ta loko. Tur kos ta indika ku hama lo mi ta skohí, pero esaki ta mi oportunidat di ta por lo menos serka di mi prinsipe stimá pa algun momentu. Esaki lo hasi mi felis”
E hoben a yega palasio pa e fiesta. Einan tabata tin e mucha muhénan mas nèchi, ku pañanan spektakular i hoyanan lombrante.

Tempu a pasa i e hoben aki no tin e habilidat den e arte di hardineria pero e tabata kuidele ku hopi pasenshi i ternura.
A pasa tres luna i nada no a pasa. Por fin, seis luna a pasa i nada no a sali

E prinsipe a bisa
Tur e presentenan a keda babuka. Niun hende no por a kompronde kon e por skohe nèt e persona ku no a kultiva nada. E ora ei, e prinsipe a splika ku trankilidat: “Esaki ta e uniko ku a kultiva e flor ku a lag’e di bira digno di bira mi Reina i mi esposa, esta, E flor di honestidat. Tur e simiyanan ku ma duna boso tabata esteril.”

Eskoho

Den bida bo tin ku tuma eskoho, sea e ta bon òf malu.
Bo tin ku kambia i sea e refleho di Kristu. Hasi lo maksimo di imita Kristu . Manera San Pablo ku a kambia su bida i bira e bon mensahero, e proklamadó di bon notisia.
Hesus ta E kaminda, bèrdat i bida, niun hende no por jega serka Tata si no pa medio di Mi (Huan 14:6) .
Hesus ta pará na porta i e ta bati. Ta keda na abo si bo ke habri p’E .
Pesei mi ke enkurasha boso rumanan si ba bin aki nan no bai bashi. Ta tempu pa nos buska ankra den Kristu. Ta tempu pa hobennan hinka rudia i alaba i sigi alaba Señor. Ta E so por juda nos. Amen

What part do we play?

We are all familiar with the dramatic readings of the Passion and Death of Our Lord. We also need to be mindful that the Gospel is not only a history of the past.

The Holy Gospel is a living, actual revelation. It helps us to discover what is happening today between Jesus and us. It explains to us how the Lord treats us and how we treat him. The Gospel is like a mirror: you only have to open to see yourself in it.

In the Gospel we learn about the Passion of Our Lord and it is also important to notice that we have the same actors on the Passion of Christ acting among us all year-round. And more importantly we play our part too:

1. The Indifferent: They are the tired ones, the mere spectators who do not like to get involved…..they let the others do everything.

When faced with injustices and tribulations, do I also use these problems as justification to be indifferent to my Christian duty?

2. The Cowards: They are the ones who -- like Saint Peter -- in difficult moments say “We do not know this man.” They are Christians who probably hear many sermons and attend Mass every Sunday. But when things get ugly -- when there is the cross and bloodshed -- they speak and act as if they have nothing to do with Christ.

Am I also a coward at certain times?

3. The Executioners: Known for being uncompassionate. They are brutal and have hearts of stone. They use sadistic methods to punish others.

How often have I sentenced others with unjust judgment and arbitrary calumnies?

4. The Victim: Innocent, hurting, patient. Just persons who suffer, innocent people facing persecution, elderly people labeled as useless, unwanted orphans, aborted children, struggling single mothers….

Don’t look far. In our midst are those who suffer, cry, are hungry, are sick, unemployed, in jail, they feel alone….. Through their lives, the compassionate Jesus, with a thousand different faces, continues in our midst. Each day he begins anew the way to Calvary.

And we, what part do we play? We can choose the role we like. We can do with Jesus whatever we want, or we can do what Jesus would have done.

Let’s also not disregard the faithful servants, the listening hearts, the friendly faces. We can give to Jesus present in our brothers and sisters, works of mercy, compassion, solidarity and unity.

Well then, who will be Veronica? Who will be Simon of Cyrene?

In the beginning, Simon of Cyrene felt indignant and did not want to carry the cross. Little by little, his attention focused on the man walking ahead of him. His companion was so patient, dignified and silent, so brave and strong in suffering.

In the beginning, all Simon could see was the burden of the cross, but in the end, he was able to see Jesus and he rejoiced that he could help and accompany him on his way.

Dear brothers and sisters, the true Christian is the one who knows that there is no greater happiness than to share the pain of Christ, present on the lives of our brothers and sisters. When we accept the cross for love of the Lord then his will is accomplished in our lives. During the Holy Week that is upon us, I invite you to experience this mystery of the Christian joy that surpasses all understanding.

Questions for Reflection
1. In which group am I?
2. Do I help Christ carry his cross?
3. How do I share with others?

I esaki Dios no ke.

Orashon
Oh, Señor, mi ta stima Bo i mi ta alaba Bo. I pa mi stima bo, mi ke kumpli ku bo boluntat. Por fabor siña mi tur dia di nobo di kumpli ku bo boluntat i nada mas. Tur esaki mi ta pidi den nòmber di Kristu Hesus. Amèn

Kuminsa e kaminata

Hesus ta invita nos pa nos sigi E. Pero hopi biaha nos no ke asepta e invitashon aki. Esaki portá dor ku nos no ta sinti nos mes emoshonalmente òf spiritualmente prepará.
Den evangelio nos ta lesa e loke a sosode ku e 10 leprosonan(Lukas 17,11-19). 10 leproso a bin kontra Hesus i pa nan ta saná, Hesus a manda nan serka e saserdotenan i ke de paso ta basta leu pa yega serka nan. Beibel ta sigi konta ku na kaminda nan a kura.
Pero AWE bo tin kuminsa ku e kaminata kargando bo enfermerdatnan i defektonan.

Orashon
Señor Hesus, mi ta asepta bo invitashon pa sigi bo. Mi sa ku mi tin mi defektonan i mi enfermedatnan pero mi tin fe ku Abo lo kurami. Sea mi guia den e kaminata di fe aki. Danki, Señor. Amèn

Oh Señor, ora mi tin kuminda;
Yudami korda riba esun ku tin hamber
Ora mi tin trabou;
Yudami korda riba esnan ku no tin trabou;
Ora mi tin un kas;
Yudami korda riba esnan ku no tin kas;
Ora mi tin salú;
Yudami korda riba esnan ku ta sufri
Anto kordando;
Ta yudami destrui mi egoismo;
Laga mi tin kompashon;

Kon hasi milager?

Mi no sa.. poreta parti laman den dos, kalma tormentanan, lanta hende for di morto.. ehempelnan asina.

Duna un man na esun ku tin mester. Skucha e persona ku ta sinti su mes solitario. Yuda esun ku a kai.

So
ña semper di kosnan grandi mientras tantu hasi e kosnan chikitu ku bo mester hasi. Despues di
tur kos, no ta fenomenal pa bo bai shelu kargando un kantidat grandi di 'milagernan' chiki?

Kon asina? Nada riba e mundu aki no ta kuestion di koinsidensia.

Felis e hende, Señor, ku Bo ta skual, ku Bo ta instruí den bo lei (Salmo 94:12).

Trabou duru ta bai kompaña ku lucha y kontratempu. Hustamente esakinan ta laga bo balorá tur kos ku bo a logra. Naturalmente bo por gana loteria tambe. Aparte ku esaki no tin ningun garantia, palabra di Dios ta bisa ku sèn gana fásil ta bai pèrdí miéntras ku sèn gana ku sodo di frenta ta krese ketu bai (Proverbionan 13:11).

The Bible like our cellphones

I wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cellphone?
What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?
What if we flipped through it several times a day?
What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?
What if we used it to receive messages from the text?
What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it?
What if we gave it to Kids as gifts?
What if we used it when we traveled?
What if we used it in case of emergency?
This is something to make you go....hmm...where is my Bible?
Oh, and one more thing. Unlike our cell phone, we don't have to worry about our Bible being disconnected because Jesus already paid the bill.
Makes you stop and think 'where are my priorities?'
And no dropped calls!
